King of Kings

The kingdom of the world has become

the kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah,

and he will reign for ever and ever.

Revelation 11:15

Today, we continue to focus on the names of Jesus. There are many more than what I’ve named over the past two days. He is truly the answer to all our needs.

Immanuel

Isaiah 7:14, A virgin shall bear a son, and his name shall be Immanuel.  In Hebrew, Immanuel means “God is with us.”

If you’re a believer, God is with you – even if you don’t necessarily feel Him.  If you don’t know Him in a personal way, you can find out how to do that here.

Jesus

Matthew 1:21, She shall bring forth a son. You shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.

King of Kings

1 Timothy 6:15, He is the only Ruler, the King of kings and Lord of lords.

Ever get discouraged with the leadership of this world? It comforts me to know that Jesus is ultimately our Ruler.  He will set everything right in His perfect timing. We can ask Him for peace while we wait.

Dear Jesus,

Thank you for coming to earth, so we could ultimately live in heaven with you.
