The Brilliant Creator

“Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens you are there. If I rise on the wings of dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast.”

As we approach the summer, I always enjoy all the pictures of places and vacations people go during the summer break.

I have seen kids swimming in the lakes surrounded by rolling hills, beautiful beaches and crystal blue waters of Florida and Hawaii, families standing by the majestic mountains of the Dakotas.

All of these pictures remind me of the God who created all of these things and I cannot help but praise Him!

How wonderful to think that no matter where on this earth you go – you see the work of the Brilliant Creator!

Oh Wonderful Lord,

Thank you that you made earth so beautiful and that we get to experience life in it. Praise God that no matter where we go we cannot leave Your side. It is hard to believe that Your greatest creation is not the beautiful oceans, or the majestic mountains but that it is us!

Your word tell us that “God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.” (Genesis 1:27). How wonderful that Your most cherished masterpiece is us!

Help us to remember that every time we look at Your creation, and it takes our breath away, that in Your site we are even more beautiful! Wow!
